JACOPO MAZZETTI
Jacopo Mazzetti's practice unfolds as cosmic archaeology - work that excavates ancestral logic while projecting possible futures. Across painting, sculpture, and installation, he constructs lyrical and metaphysical environments aimed at dissolving spatial and temporal constraints, proposing a reality in which the ephemeral and the tangible meet.
The work is characterized by alchemical materiality and a post-anthropocentric vision. Recurring series Solar Storm and Meteorite engage with luminosity, mineral matter, and the collision of the cosmic with the intimate. Each piece is a site of revelation rather than representation. Material behaves as carrier of memory. Time operates as circular rather than linear. The exhibition space is alive — an integral and active participant in the work.
Mazzetti's recurring concerns include circular time, psychic androgyny, and intergenerational exchange. He stages intimate constellations that foster revelatory states of consciousness, refining the viewer's perceptual sensitivity and intuition. The viewer is not spectator but co-author. Perception itself becomes the medium.
By dissolving the boundary between the ephemeral and the tangible, the work invites entry into a broader, more circular horizon of being — a position that treats attention as the most overlooked material in any system, and matter as the most legible record of what came before.
